At the Tender Trap we create top quality, unpretentious, beautifully presented food with supreme attention to detail in an atmosphere of ambience and comfortable hospitality.

Where else this Spring will you be able to enjoy immaculately fresh seared deep sea scallops served with slow roasted pork belly, or a perfect aged eye fillet served with spring onion potato puree topped with onion marmalade?  When the basic ingredients are this good the cooking doesn't need to be complicated. 

Afternoons or evenings spent at the Tender Trap are a delicious combination of elegant indulgence, good company and a real sense of occasion.

Owner Chris Moraitis believes passionately that people should be fussy and that when they come to the Tender Trap, everything from the welcome through to the after dinner coffee should be genuine and as good as it can be. There are many fine dining restaurants in Melbourne but few of this calibre.
